    Delivery Router

    Overview

    **Part-Time Position**

    **Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm**

    The delivery router is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the efficient delivery of stops and cases to customers within assigned delivery windows while following all DOT hours of service rules. Dispatch duties.

    Responsibilities
    • Use the routing software (Roadnet) to schedule daily deliveries and pickups that meet service, efficiency and DOT standards
    • Keep management informed of any issues surrounding Roadnet software
    • Communicate when necessary with the technical support department of Roadnet
    • Maintain Roadnet data, including geo-code map, account master data, set up new account, and other tasks to improve efficiency of routes
    • Print and distribute paperwork, including invoices, manifests and other paperwork as required
    • Communicate with sales regarding delivery day changes, off day deliveries, and special customer needs.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications
    • High School diploma or its equivalent
    • Preferred partial college
    • 3+ years of experience in related area preferred
      • Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
    • Operations Software system skills required
    • Excellent MS Office skills

    Physical Demands of Job:

    • Frequent hand motion with answering and dialing phones, and computer work
    • Occasional carrying and lifting of 15 pounds to perform various duties as assigned
    • Occasional immediate reaching to perform various office duties as assigned
    • Minimal overhead reaching to perform various office duties as assigned
    • Occasional standing and walking for short amounts of time to perform various office duties
    • Extended sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation
    • Occasional pushing and pulling of, filing cabinet drawers and use of other small office machines to perform various office duties as assigned
    • Minimal squatting or bending to perform various office duties as assigned
