Sales Support Specialist
Description:
As a Sales Support Specialist, excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality are top priority. This position is responsible for working closely with the Business Development team to prepare compelling proposals and other sales related documents. Additional tasks involve being primarily responsible for updating and maintaining information in the company’s CRM system and conducting secondary research as needed to support the Business Development team. (This position will involve minimal direct client contact and no cold calling/lead generation.)
Responsibilities:
Assist Account Managers in preparing thoughtful and compelling proposals and supporting documents
Coordinate with external partners to obtain costs and feasibility estimates
Maintain accurate records of opportunities and sales
Prepare quarterly sales reports and other reports, as requested
Assist Account Managers and Marketing team by developing additional marketing content, as needed
Assist with proactive marketing initiatives and supplier diversity efforts
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree; preferred, but not required majors include business, marketing and/or social science
Experience Requirements:
2+ years of experience providing high-level administrative support to sales professionals and/or executives
Desired Skills:
Required:
Microsoft Office
Preferred:
Acumatica or other CRM system
Qualifications:
Customer-service oriented, positive attitude, flexible and thrives in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands, meet deadlines, and manage the expectations of various stakeholders
Ability to both take initiative and work independently, as well as the ability to work effectively in a professional, team-oriented environment
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
