Finisher
Job Overview
A Finisher has the important job of helping ensure our various panels look great and are ready to be packaged and shipped.
You’ll be working at the final workstation and be responsible for the removal of imperfections from panels.
Key Responsibilities
This is a physical job, so in addition to being comfortable working on your feet for an entire shift, candidates should be comfortable bending, twisting, crouching and squatting as well as being able to lift 50 to 60 pounds comfortably and many times throughout a shift.
Inspect panels for smoothness.
Scrape and sand edges and imperfections using floor sanders, scrapers, disk-type sanders and sandpaper.
Read and interpret designs and Build of Materials
Apply Bondo, metal/non-metal plates and hardware if necessary.
Cast repairs and re-work as needed if items do not pass final checklist.
Perform checklist on each panel.
Ensure project panels remain grouped together for proper shipping.
