Job Description
Material Handler
Job Overview
This position will be responsible for shipping, receiving, transporting, stocking, assembling, and releasing materials required by the different work cells on our shop/production floor.
Key Responsibilities
Perform receiving and shipping transactions in Syteline (our ERP system)
Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack and forklift
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and Kanban management
Maintain an organized hardware materials cage
Manually consolidate components for assembly and delivery of hardware and fasteners
Troubleshoot issues relating to incoming product, storage area concerns, inventory discrepancies, etc.
Other duties as required by department leads
Must Have
This is a physical job, so in addition to working on your feet for an entire shift you should be comfortable bending, twisting, crouching, and squatting as well as be able to lift 50 to 60 pounds
Forklift certification
General computer skills (for typing emails and navigating ERP system)
Shipping/packing experience
