Carter’s Christian Academy (CCA) is a K4-8th grade school, which participates in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program. Our goal is to provide a quality academic education from a Christian perspective in an environment of academic excellence where students will grow mentally, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. CCA will maintain small class sizes for the purpose of providing students with more individualized instruction. Primary Purpose: To aid the principal in the overall administration of the school and coordinate assigned student activities. Provide supervision in the absence of the Principal. Major Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Coordinate and serve as substitute during breaks for staff members. 2. Serve as substitute in the absence of other staff members 3. Promote a positive, caring climate for learning. 4. Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff. 5. Supervise cafeteria operations. 6. Help plan daily school activities/schedules 7. Coordinate transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other support services. 8. Comply with federal and state laws, MPCP statues, and CCA’s Board policy. 9. Ensure that students are adequately supervised during non-instructional periods. 10. Ensure that school rules are uniformly observed and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable. 11. Conduct conferences on student and school issues with parents, students, and teachers. 12. Demonstrate professional, ethical, and responsible behavior. Serve as a role model for all school staff. 13. Share supervisory and evaluation responsibilities for professional and other staff as assigned by the principal. 14. Assist in maintaining the integrity of CCA.
Education: Master’s Degree in School Administration; Bachelor’s Degree in Education and State of Wisconsin Teacher Certification.
Length of Employment: This is a full-time (11 month) salaried position. Salary will be commensurate with background, training and experience. Contract begins August 1, 2012.
