Some of the day to day responsibilities include:

  • Provide Clients customized, appropriate solutions to help them succeed

  • Conduct, research and compile estimates, including customized network design/network infrastructure; workstation custom builds; hardware and application compatabilities; basic hardware/software solutions; and software subscription renewals

  • Partner with Technical Service Managers (TSM), Technicians and Account Executives (AEs) on larger deals

  • Assist Project Managers with parts/hours reconciliation

  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, by skillfully gathering and analyzing information

  • Assist AE’s in maintaining existing Client relationships

  • Communicate directly to existing Clients and Prospects by explaining technology solutions and/or closing deals

  • Assist in training Sales Team on all levels of quotes and new technology

  • Review quotes as requested by Account Executives and other team members

  • Maintain and improve current quality standards (change orders, quoting-related returns, etc.)

  • Follow standards for labor estimates and/or confer with Technical Services Department

  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and vendors

  • Conduct research and make internal recommendations on products and issues

  • Stay current on technological advancements and look for innovation opportunities; Attend trade shows to learn about new products and maintain current product knowledge

  • Obtain certifications as required by department

  • Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager

Skills and Experience 

  • 1-2+ years of Windows/Mac sales experience

  • Knowledge of service-related issues and troubleshooting methodology

  • A proven background in:

    • Network services sales

    • Current hardware/software knowledge  

    • Research aptitude

  • Strong client and team interaction focusing on:

    • Communication

    • Problem Solving

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Driven to help clients and provide the right solution

  • Must have strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Willingness and drive to take on new challenges and hit targets

  • Experience in using PSA/CRM/ERP based programs preferred

  • Must be able to prepare and edit network diagrams using Visio

Transportation:
Must have a reliable car, valid driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance. 

Physical Demands:
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
