The Purchasing Agent/Project Risk Administrator provide assistance in the buy-out of a Project.
•Manage and utilize the Master Bidders list throughout the buyout process of projects
•Manage bid documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements
•Prepare and process contracts, purchase orders, consultant agreements and amendments to ensure compliance with contract and project requirements
•Track/monitor the MBE/WBE/SBE utilization process and identify risk areas
•Maintain Purchase and Award Schedule
•Enter contracts into CMIC
•Follow up on contract compliance items with trade contractors
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
•Bachelor’s degree
•1-3 years of purchasing and/or construction experience
•Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
•Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and outside representatives
•Ability to prepare and interpret specifications, analyze bids, and prepare and maintain procurement records and reports
