Job Description
Position Summary:
Coordinate, organize and support the medical product group and provide assistance for activities in the sales department.  This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, plus knowledge of Microsoft Query and Sequel.

Essential Responsibilities: (other duties as assigned)
  • Calculate quarterly rebated and/or incentives for designated customers
  • Manage monthly rebates for GPO’s (Group Purchasing Organizations); send reminders to field sales and/or customers for rebate information and tracking missing claims
  • Validate and approve rebate claims; investigated and reconcile discrepancies
  • Prepare regular reports on rebate activity and business growth trends to management 
  • Calculate and process rebate credits for distributors
  • Calculate and process rebate/payment for GPO administration fees
  • Manage miscellaneous rebates for regional contracts or special pricing
  • Calculate direct Sales Management and Sales Representatives commissions; provide to payroll for processing
  • Develop process and track sales van inventory and sales samples; provide monthly reporting to sales rep to confirm inventory levels 
  • Aid in developing and reporting the company’s budget, and perform analysis to actual results
  • Lead and participate in various projects that have a direct impact to the organization

Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent, BA/BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, experience calculating rebates and commission a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Basic computer skills within Office Microsoft programs
  • Ability to follow up on issues and meet deadlines
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. 
    • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
