The Sony Creative Software team (part of Sony Electronics) is seeking a Software Engineering Intern in the Madison, Wisconsin area. The scope of this position may include development of desktop, mobile, and web applications, implementation of cloud-based services, and application of emerging technologies such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence initiatives for Sony professional services customers. Sony Creative Software is located in Middleton, WI, 15 minutes from downtown Madison, and walking distance from Greenway Crossing.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma and currently enrolled in university
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
• Strong aptitude for working on multiple projects in fast-pace environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with JavaScript and/or C++ required
• Knowledgeable of HTML5 and CSS3 features and modern browser architecture a plus
• Experience with web technologies and frameworks including databases a plus
• Knowledge of C# a plus
• Experience with audio / video production a plus
• Internship is for summer semester
• Local candidates only
