Summary Supports the Prefinish manager in ensuring that production objectives at met, in alignment with company quality standards; organize and control the release of production orders to support the production schedule
Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Reviews production orders or schedules to determine product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates Prefinishing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
Compile and Review production data
Prepare and maintain written correspondence.
Resolve problems and triage issues with guidance from the Prefinish and Plant Manager.
In coordination with the Prefinish Manager, is responsible to handle the employment cycle of the employee in regards to: interviewing, training/developing, timely completion of performance reviews; disciplinary correction and suspension.
Work closely with other areas of operations on various assignments as necessary; participate in required meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred. Will consider a combination of education and experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing/production related capacity, Prefinishing experience preferred.
