Main Duties & Responsibilities

TriMas is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented intern with an interest in investor relations, communications and/or general business to provide support to the Investor Relations and Global Communications department. The internship is a great opportunity to learn about TriMas' corporate communications, financials, market position and products, as well as gain exposure to many areas of the
business.

The Investor Relations & Communications Intern will support the Investor Relations and Global Communications department with a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assist with internal communications such as memos, internal presentations, newsletters and TriConnect, the company's intranet
  • Analyze and improve the TriMas website, as well as the various business websites
  • Assist with and review deliverables related to the quarterly reporting/earnings process, including earnings release, investor presentation, scripts, peer analysis, Q&A preparation and the 10-Q
  • Work on TriMas branding guidelines
  • Assist with the development of a new investor presentation

Qualifications

Applicants should have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, an interest in investor relations, communications and/or business, strong interpersonal skills and be detail-oriented. Other considerations include:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business or Communications
  • Track record of strong academic performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills
  • Analytical aptitude; basic understanding of finance is a plus
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work across functional areas
  • Team player who exhibits TriMas' core values of integrity, results-driven, continuous improvement, team work and
    customer focus

The Investor Relations & Communications Intern should be available for the summer, but start and end dates are
flexible. The internship will be part-time working 20-30 hours per week. Must
have permanent work authorization in the United States.
