Job Description
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Will be responsible for receiving and documenting requests for technical support from office and field employees, following up on open tickets until resolution is found, and assist with additional IT tasks and projects. This person will work closely with employees and will be required to field various questions dealing with computers, mobile devices, and technology.  This is a full-time position that will be onsite in the Fond du Lac corporate office. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide technical support to all employees
  • Answers calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Document and Track resolutions to all requests
  • Perform installation, repairing, upgrading and troubleshooting of technical equipment.
  • VDC software licensing/deployment packages and configuration updates
  • Software installs, updates and patches
  • Field Hardware and Software Support for RTSs, Laser Scanner, Drone, Future Technologies
  • Field Technical updates for Firmware/Software
  • Field Technical Equipment & Maintenance Tracking
  • IT limitations problem solving (permissions/access control, data storage & retrieval processes, internal and external transfer speeds, real-time information sharing, data retention, data backup)
  • Other help desk duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field and minimum of 5 years of technical support experience.
  • Experience working with VDC or BIM systems is a plus.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Expert knowledge in the information technology field and complex system integration preferably working with construction industry systems and technologies.
  • Experience working with vendors and third-party sourcing and negotiation.
  • Experience implementing IT systems and networks.
