Job Description
The Technical Sales Support Specialist (TSSS) individual is primarily responsible for creating estimates for River Run clients including but not limited to Network Infrastructure updates. TSSS will also assist in maintaining a long-term relationship with River Run clients and vendors as he or she coordinates larger estimates for products and services. The person in this position must be able to work in a team atmosphere and be focused on the Client. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties
  • Assist Account Executives (AE) in maintaining existing accounts that are the direct responsibility of the AE
  • Review quotes as requested by CSRs
  • Assist in training CSRs on all levels of quotes
  • Conduct research as needed for varying high-level client estimates, including but not limited to customized network design/network infrastructure, workstation custom builds, and application compatibilities
  • Research on products, issues, etc.
  • Meet quote deadlines
  • Keep and improve current quality standards (change orders, Quoting-related returns, etc.)
  • Follow standards for labor estimates and/or confer with Technical Department regarding labor estimates
  • Work with Tech Management and Account Executives on larger deals
  • Assist with Sales system updates/upgrades
  • Establish and reach individual activity and training goals
  • Maintain relationships with Distributors, Vendors and Subcontractors
  • Oversee list maintenance and updates
  • Work with Product Managers on any product updates, changes, additional coordinating, etc.
  • Work with Department Managers to coordinate any additional training for RR employees
Responsibilities
  • Attend necessary meetings regarding sales, operational and company processes
  • Attend Sales and Technical training sessions as necessary
  • Attend trade shows to learn about new products and maintain current product knowledge
  • Assist with training CSRs and Sales staff on products and services
  • Stay current on technological advancements and look for innovation
  • Complete proper paper work and follow department procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager
  • Certifications as required by department
  • Project Management assistance (parts/hours reconciliation)
  • Provide Follow-up support for internal support staff regarding software licensing
  • Documentation of Sales Support-related processes
  • Create level 3 & 4 proposals
  • The ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, by skillfully gathering and analyzing information, facts, data, etc.
Skills and Experience 
  • 1-2+ years of PC based network sales experience
  • Knowledge of service related issues and troubleshooting methodology
  • A proven background in:
  • Network services sales
  • Current hardware/software knowledge  
  • Research aptitude
  • Client service attitude
  • Strong client and team interaction focusing on:
  • Communication
  • Problem Solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Client interaction skills
  • Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Must have strong prioritization skills
  • Must be able to handle a large client base
  • Experience in using PSA/CRM/ERP based programs preferred
  • Must be able to prepare and edit network diagrams using Visio
Transportation:
Must have a reliable car, valid driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance. 

Physical Demands:
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
