Summary
Under the general direction of and reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, perform general CNC burn table programming and updates to programs to support all Telsmith product lines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for general burn table CNC programming duties including, but not limited to, the following:
- Create programs for various CNC burn tables.
- Update programs for various CNC burn tables.
- Interface and communicate with Telsmith personnel at all levels, as well as, address questions.
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Requires education generally equivalent to an Associate’s Degree.
- Requires 1-3 years of relevant CNC burn table experience.
- Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and perform trigonometric, algebraic and geometric calculations.
- Requires a strong knowledge of SigmaNEST software.
- Requires a strong knowledge of SolidWorks software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system is preferred.
- Knowledge of EPDM software is preferred.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
- Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings.
