Machining (Production Sup) 2nd shift (robotics)

Job Description
Provide shop floor leadership to the non-exempt (hourly) workforce. Execute manufacturing plans in an efficient manner and maximize utilization of MOI and MOD workforce. Promote positive employee relations.
• Ensure daily production goals are met.
• Function as lead person for training and development.
• Adhere to and promote quality standards
• Monitor and manage safety of workers and working environment.
• Design and track employee training on work station standards.
• 5S Champion.
• Bring to the attention of management constraints to achieving the production plan.
• Continuously improve team efficiency.
• Ensure production tools and quality gauges are usable and acceptable for operators.
• Conduct employee reviews and progressive discipline.
• Partner with HR to support company policy and keep employee records updated.
• Perform other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree preferred. 3-5 years previous supervisory experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and blueprints. Ability to write clear reports and instructions as well as ability to respond to questions from managers, customers, and employees. Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and draw conclusion from limited information
