The supervisor will be responsible for:
Ensuring safety of all employees throughout the shop floor.
Scheduling work and supervising production employees.
Ensuring welders are producing to print specifications and completing quality checks.
Participating in the interview process, including creation and administration of welding tests.
Working with engineering and inspectors to determine best sequence of operations.
Supervising the processing and handling of materials.
Communicating to engineering with any changes to improve shop orders.
Identifying and trouble-shooting production problems.
Approving employee hours and vacation time.
