Job Description

Job Purpose: The Outpatient Clinic provides strength based, trauma informed clinical services.  The Clinical Services Manager will provide consistent support and clinical supervision to the Clinic and Therapists to help increase protective factors for the individuals and families we serve. The Clinical Services Manager will also provide organizational leadership of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) including oversight of certification, training and maintenance.  This position will supervise the Licensed Treatment Professionals, NMT Specialists and Administrative Staff.

Duties:
  • Provide support and clinical supervision to the Clinic, Therapists and NMT Specialist
  • Support and assist therapist with crisis resolution and management, and innovative interventions and treatment planning
  • Provide evidenced based clinical services to clients through NMT assessments and mental health consultation
  • Build positive relationships with collateral contacts and networks appropriately to maintain referral relationships
  • Provide leadership for NMT certification, training and maintenance
  • Maintain an active role within the Child Trauma Academy partnership
  • Coordinate agency use and implementation of NMT
  • Monitor program and services to ensure all licensing and regulatory requirements are met and licensure is maintained
  • Assist CPO to ensure in compliance with standards and written documentation
  • Ensure supervisory oversight and tracking of outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology or Marriage and Family and corresponding independent licensure
  • 5 years’ post master’s experience providing individual, child, group and family therapy preferred
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the application of clinical theories, practices and techniques of casework
  • Knowledgeable of the laws and regulations pertaining to behavioral health, children, youth and families
  • Certification in NMT and NMT Train the Trainer status or eligibility
  • Exceptional public relations skills to include effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of community resources and demonstrated ability to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve positive outcomes
 
Position Details:
  • Full-time, some irregular hours
  • Clinic environment
  • Own reliable transportation, meet agency auto insurance requirements and have a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
  • Supervises Licensed Treatment Professionals, NMT Specialists and Administrative Staff
  • Reports directly to the Chief Program Officer of Community Services
