3rd Shift
$12.00 p/hr +.50
- Candidates must have prior experience:
- Operating high-speed packaging machines (vertical fill and form/Hayssen) in a food production environment
- Troubleshooting and repairing minor machine issues
- Great mechanical aptitude
- Packaging machine experience a must
- Basic knowledge of consumer goods or food products and packaging helpful
- Heavy work with repetative lifting of 50 lbs.
- Seals bags & jars, packs cardboard boxes, erects and taps boxes
- Read various scales to check weights, verifies product and packaging materials against work orders
- Must be able to count, do basic math, retrieve data on touch screen
- Hand operate a pallet jack, move materials, clean work area
- Works with a multi-person crew on packaging machines
- Busy work, fills bags/jars with spices& herbs either by machine or by hand, etc.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, & understand English
