Position: Grain Dryer Systems Technician

Farmers’ Implement in Columbus, WI provides grain storage and handling solutions.

Immediate positions are available for the Grain Bin Team, including a Lead Position to complete installation and service of Shivvers brand in-bin drying systems and related components. This unique position will offer the opportunity to also work with repair and maintenance of agriculture equipment in a shop environment for year round employment.

Must be able to climb upwards of 40 feet, be able to lift more than 50 pounds on a regular basis, must work well in a team, no experience necessary but is encouraged, must be willing to travel and overnight stays out of town on occasion.

Successful candidates must also be able to:

• Operate manual and power tools
• Read measurement devices accurately
• Do basic arithmetic
• Work in a wide variety of weather conditions
• Show a valid driver’s License
• Have reliable transportation to and from work
• Work employing OSHA Mandated safe work practices and common sense

Abilities, experience and qualifications in the following areas would be a strong plus:

• Millwright experience
• Stick Welding
• Mechanical, Electrical Aptitudes
• Mobile Hydraulic Boom Crane Operations
• Operating Skid steers, Man lifts, Sky tracks, etc.
• Heavy equipment maintenance including checking/topping/changing fluids
• Chauffer’s or CDL License
