Job Description
| *Shipping experience, prefer background with a food manufacturer. *Forklift Certified *Read and follow instructions *Operate yard dog, move trailers *Using RF Scanner Gun *Loading/Unloading trailers *Safety Oriented *Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and be a self starter. *Must be able to work in a freezer. *Must be able to use a racking system. *Follow FIFO *Print BOLs *Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. *Prior experience driving a yard dog (yard tractor)-preferred |
| Duties and Responsibilities of the Job: | |||
| Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; moving and arranging merchandise in the freezer warehouse. • Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material. |
