Job Description
The VP of Strategy and Innovation will serve as a member of the Executive Team and will support business development and innovation.  This position is also responsible for assisting in the strategic planning for the organization.  Includes senior oversight of the Quality Improvement team to promote and practice excellence and positive impact for clients.  Supports the Marketing team to expand brand awareness and build community engagement.
 
Duties:
 
  • Provide leadership in charting the Agency’s course in service development and new business ventures
  • Seek partnerships or merger opportunities that align with the SaintA mission and position the agency to achieve strategic initiatives
  • Lead the strategic planning process of the organization
  • Provide overall program vision, leadership and strategic direction to the division including managing, planning, implementing, coordination and evaluating operations as well as designing business process improvement strategies and policies to promote effective program administration and service delivery
  • Leadership focus to ensure quality internal customer service with demonstrated understanding of positive client outcomes, financial viability and sustainability, risk management and innovation
  • Represent SaintA at the local, state and national levels and provide leadership in developing advocacy agendas, public policy and relationships with elected and appointed leaders, and work with the media and opinion leaders to further SaintA’s public policy priorities
 Qualifications:
 
  • Master’s degree in Human Services, Business or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of Human Services sector
  • Minimum 10 years relevant senior leadership experience in public or private agencies providing child welfare services, juvenile justice, behavioral health or related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to speak and write at highly competent levels with multiple audiences, both internal and external
 Position Details:
 
  • Full-Time
  • Supervises Director of Quality, Director of Marketing and Communications, and Administrative Services Manager
  • Reports directly to President and CEO
  • Own reliable transportation, meet agency auto insurance requirements and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
