The Lead Information Security Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develops and executes security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems.
• Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures. Maintains hardware, software and network firewalls and encryption protocols.
• Administers security policies to control physical and virtual access to systems.
• Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems.
• Exercises judgment within defined, standard practices/procedures to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
• Works under limited supervision, typically receiving general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments, and a moderate level of guidance and direction

Administers security policies to control physical and virtual access to systems. Analyzes and provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of information security technology experience

OR

• Master's degree and at least 3 years of information security technology experience

OR

• At least 7 years of information security technology experience

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills:

• Experience deploying Microsoft Azure cloud environments using Azure Resource Manager (not Classic)
• Azure PowerShell in Azure ARM environment
• Experience building Microsoft Azure Internal and External load balancers
• Experience deploying and managing Barracuda NG firewalls in an Azure ARM environment
• Implementing Azure User Defined Routing in conjunction with Barracuda NG firewalls
• Deploying and managing Cisco ASA 5500 Firewalls
• Deploying and managing Juniper SRX Firewalls
• Deploying and managing Cisco Cloud Web Security or Umbrella
• Barracuda Control Center for Firewall management
• Pulse Connect Secure SSL VPN concentrator
• Pulse Policy Secure for NAC
• Cisco ASDM
• Experience with Juniper JSA or Q1Radar (SIEM) implementations
