Entry Level Assembler: $12.00-$14.00
General electrical assembly position - all duties can be trained but some experience is desired.
Job Duties: stripping wire, removing jacket from cable, crimping terminals, inserting terminals into connectors, tie wrapping, some soldering of wires (if they have the ability). General assembly to our customers' drawings and internal work instructions. With internal training and step by step work instructions, almost anyone with the desire, motor skills, speed and attention to detail can perform these duties. Some jobs are very simple and require repetitive motion while others are more challenging to assemble when the associate becomes more seasoned. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Most jobs are done seated and at a workstation but may require standing and bending as well. Harnessers must have the ability to stand (and bend) throughout the entire shift. Must be able to read a ruler, count accurately and be able to distinguish colors. The ability to harness and/or read prints is a plus!!! High School/GED education required.
Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week minimum (OT as required)
Shift: First Shift, Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday)
Hours: Summer Hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day): 6am-3pm M-Th, 6am-Noon Friday
Non-summer Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm M-F
