Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and nurture the client service team to provide the very highest level of client service.
- Work closely with the client service representatives to assess their competencies.
- Monitor the quality of client service and correct / report concerns as necessary.
- Ensure the front office is appropriately staffed and trained.
- Provide mentorship to staff members.
- Prioritize and direct workflow for the Client Service Department.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with policies, procedures and protocols.
- Provide ongoing training and education to elevate the level of client service.
- Designate assigned responsibilities for employees in your department.
- Develop innovative ways to improve the client experience.
- Develop and deliver the processes to ensure a value-added client service experience.
- Develop a collaborative working relationship with all hospital departments to ensure a professional, positive experience for the client.
- Develop and deliver initial and ongoing education to the hospital staff on what client service is, and its importance and relevance in all positions in the hospital.
- Act as liaison between referring veterinarians and the hospital by addressing concerns and facilitating problem resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years management experience
- Compassion and empathy for animals, patients, clients, and others
- Previous experience working or volunteering with animals
