Job Description
Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Physics and Chemistry, starting fall 2018.  The successful candidate must be committed to teaching all aspects of undergraduate physics, be instrumental in developing new courses, and collaborate with department faculty on curriculum and new program development.  A PhD in physics or a closely related field and effective communication skills are required.  Postdoctoral experience and additional interest in related areas are desirable. The search will focus at the Assistant Professor level, however applications from senior candidates may be considered for higher rank.
 
MSOE is a private, application-oriented university with programs in engineering, engineering technology, technical communication, business, construction management and nursing.  Primarily a 4-year undergraduate institution, MSOE emphasizes excellence in teaching.  Consulting and applied research involving undergraduate students are encouraged.
