Experience / Qualifications:
Must have Shipping experience. Food manufacturer experience with freezer environment preferred.
Must be able to assist the Shipping Supervisor and Logistics team.
Must work with USDA.
Must be able to work well with others.
Must be detailed and organized.
Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
Assist with handling cold storage transfers, and training new staff as they come in to be knowledgeable of the freezer, trucks, dock, product, paper work handling, and fork lifts.
Assist with Inventory management.
Maintain a safe environment for product and staff operations within the shipping dock and freezer. Assist with enforcing efficient timing of loading trucks.
Handle BOL and pick slip maintenance.
