Class A Driver

Job Description
Our Class A Drivers perform duties associated with picking up hazardous waste at customer locations mainly in CO, MT, WY and transporting to a Clean Harbors location or other disposal sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Picks up waste from customer locations utilizing vans, roll offs, and tankers
Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
May be responsible for loading, unloading and securing their load
Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste (i.e.: compatibility’s of liquid to tank, etc.)
Checks hazardous waste for proper manifesting, labeling and condition
Verifies that shipment documents for hazardous waste and all material are correct for transportation and delivery
Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements
Minimum of 1 year driving experience
Ability to travel overnight up to 20%
