Position/Internship Description

As the city's first and only daily magazine and city guide, OnMilwaukee.com highlights entertainment-oriented events in and around the Metro Milwaukee area, while packaging and promoting all that Milwaukee has to offer. What started as a vision from its three founders, OnMilwaukee.com has grown into a high-tech Internet media company employing Milwaukee's best and brightest editorial, programming, creative and sales talent. OnMilwaukee.com is looking for a part to full time Event Calendar Intern, preferably studying Journalism. The opportunity available is for spring 2009 and beyond. Duties will include:
  • Event research, writing, and posting
  • Data entry Job Requirements:
  • Strong writing skills required
  • Knowledge and use of AP Style required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Reliable transportation
