Mixers-2nd Shift Job Opening at Badger Color Concentrates in Mukwonago, WI

Shop Jobs Are: $10.00+ /hr. with a $.35/Shift Premium.  Starting wage may vary depending upon prior plastics experience, and do expect a raise after a review with satisfactory completion of your 90 day training period.

Mixers:    Mixers follow the order to gather appropriate raw materials, precisely weigh, and prepare the batch to mix.  Mixers set up the batch on an appropriate mixer, monitor progress, and deliver batch to the line.  Upon completion of extrusion process, the Mixers clean mixers and kettles thoroughly. 

Physical Demands:  positions require frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, pushing/pulling, climbing up and down machine stairs to platforms, and extensive reaching.  Exposure to occasional fumes, noise, chemical solvents, pigments, resins, dust, dirt, and water in troughs is possible. We do provide personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.).   In this position you must be able to lift 10-25lbs. frequently and 25-70 lbs. occasionally. Candidates may also tip and roll barrels of up to 100lbs. The buddy system, dolly equipment and fork trucks are available.  Other requirements include excellent number and depth perception, strong eye-hand coordination, competent reading, math and measurement abilities. If offered a position with us you will be required to pass a drug screen, physical, auditory, and respiratory exam.

Hours:   The hours for 2nd  shift are 3:30pm-12:00am Monday-Friday
