Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for assisting those who sell and service the Self-Funded. Team members must perform with a high-level of expertise and product knowledge, provide technical assistance and support to the Account Management staff by servicing as a liaison between the Account Management and processing staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain summary plan descriptions and booklets for new customers
  • Create and maintain amendments and restatements for renewal and mid-term customers
  • Assist with technical processing of summary plan descriptions and booklets for customers
  • Complete entry of benefit and demographic customer information in Plan Benefits Database for display on the web and as a tool for internal departments
  • Complete entry of sold services and fees into the ASO DB for new customers
  • Review processing questions for possible coding corrections
  • Provide the very best customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing unit results

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • 2 + years of any type of claims experience
  • Microsoft Word, Excel is required
  • Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
  • Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests
  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task and be self-motivated
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of group product lines and Corporate Operations
  • Ability and willingness to accept and work in a changing environment
  • Works independently
  • Ability to work well in an environment with high standards for quality and turnaround with minimal supervision
