Position Description
The Institute for Research on Poverty, UW-Madison has 3 temporary full-time openings for data collectors (Office Operation Associate-Project) to research and code child support data from Wisconsin County Courthouses. The position requires overnight travel, a commitment to work full-time for 1 year, basic experience in working with computers, and typing skills of at least 45 wpm. Some college-level course work and knowledge of legal terminology preferred. Must have valid driver's license which meets the UW Risk Management Standards and there will be a criminal background check. Beginning pay is $13.968/hour plus benefits. Hours are Monday-Friday. Early morning and evening driving. ON the road, travelling most Tuesdays through Thursdays.
