We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor who is enthusiastic about providing exceptional patient care. The ideal individual supervises the day-to-day operations of all nursing staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation and delivery of patient care. Serving as a coordinator for patient and staff education and screening programs at Aurora Medical Group and local businesses,

  • Supervising the clinical staff in all departments ensuring appropriate hours of operation to meet patient needs; employment of credentialed personnel; accreditation of department by appropriate governing entity (e.g., CLIA, OSHA, etc.) and budgeted financial results are achieved. Overseeing staffing and scheduling of all clinical staff.
  • Establishing effective policies and procedures for each area, updating as necessary.
  • Maximizing the effectiveness of staffing through personnel management. Creating new staffing initiatives such as staff education, drug samples, callbacks, prescription refills, etc.
  • Coordinating the education of clinical staff and being responsible for maintaining standards of staff competency regarding clinical performances, safety, OSHA, and all other regulatory bodies.
  • Serving as a clinical resource to staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with group physicians.
  • Assuring the compliance with OSHA regulations. Coordinating training for clinical staff regarding OSHA regulations.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) granted by the State of Wisconsin.
  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to high quality patient care.
  • Exceptional team management/leadership skills.
  • Fosters high initiative to ensure creativity of self and staff in meeting clinic needs.
  • Intermediate computer skills (including Windows).
<
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience in the medical field is preferred.
