Director of Community Development

The City of Oshkosh (pop. 66,000) is accepting applications for a Director of Community Development. The Director of Community Development plans, organizes and directs the programs and activities for the Planning, Inspection and Assessor divisions of the City of Oshkosh.

This department head level position is responsible for directing the City’s economic development program, planning program, zoning code implementation, and property tax assessment program.

Requirements:

This position requires:

A master’s degree in Urban Studies, Community Planning or related field;

Minimum 6 to 9 years of progressive responsible experience in planning and/or community development;

Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience;

Possession and maintenance of a valid WI Driver’s License;

AICP certification is desirable.

The current annual salary range is $84,627-$108,755 plus an excellent benefit package.
