First Business Capital Corp. is a growing company with career opportunities that are vital to the operations and success of the company. Currently, we have an opening for the following position.
As an Account Executive, you will:
• Manage a portfolio of asset-based loans which includes: relationship management, detailed financial analysis, loan structuring and negotiating, collateral management, loan documentation, and interaction with auditing and business development personnel in developing new client relationships
• Analyze and verify FBCC collateral position with regard to client loans within designated portfolio
• Perform continuous review to understand the clients' financial performance, position, cash flow and projections
• Manage the portfolio in accordance with FBCC loan policy and procedures
• Determine client issues, needs and requests and make recommendations to FBCC management in a timely manner
• Effectively communicate with senior level management and credit committee members
• Some overnight travel may be required
Qualified candidates should have:
• At least 5-10 years of asset based lending experience – preferably as an account executive, relationship manager, field examiner, or underwriter
• A college degree in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal team members and clients
• Strong analytical skills and high level of detail orientation
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Desire to relocate: position will ideally work out of the Madison headquarters location
