Shelter Mortgage is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join ourMilwaukee Processing Center as a Loan Processor. This person must possess solidorganizational and time management skills, and be knowledgeable in FNMA &FHLMC guidelines as well as FHA. Knowledge of VA and 3rd party Investorguidelines helpful, but not required. As a Loan Processor, the primaryresponsibilities will include:

1. Processing and pre-underwriting loans from pre-approval to final submissionto underwriting

2. Review approval conditions for accuracy and structure loans according topolicy requirements and credit quality

3. Assist in training support staff as needed

4. Excellent communication skills required to develop a strong workingrelationship with loan officers, realtors and customers

5. Stay current with Investor guidelines and changes

6. Assist in resolving post closing issues and quality control audits

Other duties as assigned This qualified candidate must have a high schooldiploma or the equivalent (GED). A minimum of 3 years mortgage experience isrequired. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and multi-task isa must. Must have strong team-oriented skills and a hands-on approach to thejob. Strong analytical skills are necessary.
