The Actuant Internship Program is an intensive 10-12 week program usually during the summer. Part-time internships may also be available, allowing students to work part-time all year or for a specific period of time while attending classes at their college.

Interns participate as members of project teams in finance and accounting, sales, manufacturing/ operations, human resources or another business area that complements their college curricula with relevant hands-on experience. Actuant interns take on real-world projects designed to foster the development of organizational, planning, decision-making and leadership skills. Students are provided with the opportunity to meet and interact with business leaders.

While working full-time, interns will work closely with an Actuant mentor who will assist in honing their skills and developing their talents.

Eligibility:

• Actively pursuing bachelor's degree at accredited college (a graduate is not eligible for internship/co-op positions).
• Work availability from mid-May through August (10-12 weeks).
• Majors: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Management, or other liberal arts majors with a business focus.
• Demonstrated strong academic performance; cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher on 4 point scale.
• Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Exhibit leadership through work experience, campus activities and/or community service.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete and pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Hold citizenship or permanent resident status for the location of their internship (can be in US, Europe, China).
