We have an excellent opportunity available for an energetic restoration ecologist with outstanding report writing skills. In order to be considered for this position, the candidate must possess the following basic qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in ecology, soil science, biological sciences or environmental science, a minimum of 4 years experience in preparation of restoration and wetland mitigation plans and knowledge of native plant species for Wisconsin and Illinois. Other qualifying experience would include at least two years of wetland investigations, monitoring threatened and endangered species surveys and environmental resource permitting. Responsibilities will include initiating and developing contacts with potential clients and coordinating business development activities. Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients are necessary. A Master’s degree in soil science and a certification in ecology or soil science are preferred. Would need to obtain registration in Wisconsin or Illinois as a Professional Wetland Scientist or Professional Soil Scientist within six months of employment.


This position could be located in our Milwaukee, Madison or Chicago office based on the candidate’s preference.
