Position Description
Position: General Helper – Plastics
Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Pay: $7.50/hour
Location: Oshkosh, WI
A well-known plastic manufacturing company is seeking General Helpers to work with plasticol. This is a dirty, messy job. There is some physical labor involved. The employee will be unloading a maximum of 2 pallets that contain bags of the dry plasticol into the mixer. Each pallet holds 100 bags and each bag weights 50 lbs. After this you are checking on the mix, getting samples, testing it, adjusting the plasticol for thickness and color. Plasticol is the liquid vinyl material. You will be climbing stairs repeatedly every shift.
REQUIREMENTS
*Must be able to handle repetition.
*Be able to stand for an entire shift, and feel comfortable bending, twisting, and kneeling, and going up and down stairs multiple times per shift.
*Be able to lift 50 lbs. above shoulders consistently.
*Have basic math skills.
*Be able to communicate effectively.
This is a temp-to-hire position offered through Life Style Staffing. Life Style Staffing requires that you have worked at one job for at least six months within the past year.
