Imagine yourself...

Performing routine and complex diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures for both inpatients and outpatients.

Working under the direction of Vascular Surgeons and as a part of an accredited vascular lab (ICAVL).

Providing the highest quality patient care in a positive, collaborative work environment.

Performing carotid, venous and arterial examinations to aid in the care and diagnosis of patients.
All Sonographers must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Physics and Vascular Technology or be registry-eligible after having successfully completed an accredited program for diagnostic ultrasound or have had the equivalent experience that is accepted by the ARDMS.

The registry-eligible Sonographer must successfully complete the registry examinations within 12 months of hire. If this is not met, the employee shall be dismissed.

All Sonographers must provide proof of current registration annually.

All Sonographers must demonstrate competency and proficiency in arterial, venous and carotid imaging.

Must be CPR Certified within one year of employment

Must have a positive attitude and promote teamwork within the department.
