The Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the DQM with all aspects of the hospital Quality Program. this will include data collection and presentation for quality, environment, infection control, quality control and risk management. Direct observation of staff compliance is also expected. This position will assist as directed in quality meetings and teams and help prepare agenda items for required meetings. The Quality deparment is responsible for the following functions and this QC position will assist in implementing the plans associated with: Standard Compliance and Survey Readiness; Quality Improvement and Outcomes Measurement; Infection Control; Risk Management; Employee Health; Safety; Employee Education.
Position Requirements: Active licensure as a Registered Nurse. At least three years of clinical experience in LTACH or acute care is desired. Previous experience with one major area of responsibility is also desired.
CPR Certification is required, ACLS certification is preferred. This position does involve direct patient care for a population of patients ages 13 and older.
