Currently, we are looking for talented individuals to join our Dose Formulation team in Madison, WI. As a Dose Formulation Study Technician with Covance, you will be receive and formulate the drug products that are going to be used in Toxicology studies. You will prepare the drug products at various concentrations in various types of media/vehicles which then are subsequently administered to the test systems by the dosing team. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and documenting pertinent data for the receipt, distribution, preparation and disposition of test compounds and carriers/vehicles in compliance with appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Monitoring test materials and helping maintain facilities for regulatory compliance.
  • Assisting in the preparation of diets, solutions, and capsules with test materials and vehicles according to study protocols and SOPs.
  • Learning to prepare labels and related documentation of study procedures.
  • Learning the process of disposition of samples from prepared dose materials by Covance or sponsor.



Due to the nature of this role, our Dose Formulation Study Technicians are expected to:

  • Work overtime and weekend work as required.
  • May work with potentially hazardous substances.
  • Work requires wearing protective clothing, including airstream respirator

Requires a BS degree in Science or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
HOSPITAL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS!
