Position Description
Our client based in South East USA is looking for a long-term contract Transmission Planning Engineer (contract duration approx. 1 year).
Qualified Candidates Must Possess the Following:
-5 years experience utilizing PSS/E, PSS/E Models, Stability Analysis, and Bulk Transmission Planning.
-Advanced knowledge of electric theory and transmission planning concepts
-Ability to learn quickly and use various electric system analysis tools
-Knowledge in system operations, generation planning and database skill and economics
-Experience with Transmission planning policy issues, including research, presentations and explanation of policy issue to management
This position offers benefits including paid holidays and health plan reimbursement after 90 days, paid vacation after 1 year and matching IRA program (available immediately).
