Community Outreach to Minorities

The organization is organized and operates to assist African American businesses in the greater Milwaukee area. Many minority-owned businesses lack the information; resources and the necessary business acumen needed to survive in a competitive market. We believe it is extremely critical that minority-owned businesses are given the opportunity and resources to create jobs and provide needed goods and services in the City of Milwaukee and surrounding areas.

The American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (AICCW) 501(c)3 founded in April 1991 was established to help generate economic growth and wealth creation in Wisconsin Indian Country through directed service delivery to American Indian entrepreneurs. Our mission is to promote members and affiliates of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin, with an emphasis on American Indian owned businesses, joint ventures and professional associations.

Casa Hispana is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a bilingual center for information, referral,support, advocacy. Education and celebration to advance the economic, social and cultural position of the Hispanic/Latino community in the Fox Valley and surrounding communities

We are a non-profit community based organization established in 1964. We have a vision to be an innovative, culturally sensitive, quality service provider in social services, early childhood, youth and adult education and housing for the elderly and mobility impaired. Our Mission is to empower the Milwaukee Hispanic Community, and the Community at Large, by providing education, housing and social services to help families and individuals overcome the social, economic and cultural barriers to self sufficiency and productivity.

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin was incorporated in 1972 as a non-profit business organization. The HCCW creates, expands and diversifies small and Hispanic-owned businesses in Wisconsin with a strong focus in the Milwaukee Metro area. The HCCW provides educational and technical resources, fosters economic exchange between the business and corporate sectors, and promotes a network for political issues, community affairs and opportunities for the Hispanic population and community at large.

Esperanza Unida provides counseling, representation, job training, and job placement to minority, injured, and unemployed workers in the Milwaukee area. The focus is on jobs that pay family-supporting wages. This is done through training businesses and support services. Through these programs, jobs are created and unemployed workers are trained and placed in the work environment with competitive wages. We serve people from the entire Milwaukee area-placing an emphasis on the social and economic concerns of the local Latino community.

Our mission is to assist in integrating Hispanic-American individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and community integration by utilizing available resources, and becoming positive citizens in the mainstream community.

Our mission of the Hmong Community Center, Inc. is to serve, inform and educate the Southeast Asian community of the changes that will affect: cultural heritage, education, training, direct services, advocacy and strengthen the ability to advocate for community.

HMAAS’ primary mission is to assist the Southeastern Asian refugees in their resettlement process in Sheboygan County and to promote opportunities that will enable refugee families to become self-sufficient.

There are three keys to success for INROADS students: Selection, Education & Training, and Performance. For over three decades, INROADS has helped businesses gain greater access to diverse talent through continuous leadership development of outstanding ethnically diverse students and placement of those students in internships at many of North America's top corporations, firms and organizations.

Workforce Development provides assistance to individuals in securing adequate employment to maintain their families. Services include career counseling, English as a Second Language instruction, remedial education, skills assessment, interviewing and application assistance, and job shadowing. Eligible applicants are assisted in the application and interviewing process and case managed for at least six months following placement to monitor outcomes.

Lao Family is a Mutual Assistance Association (M.A.A.) founded to help Southeast Asian refugees as they come to the United States.

Our mission is to empower the woman to better promote the welfare and enhance the well being of Wisconsin’s Latino/Hispanic community by overcoming language barriers and other limitations unique to our people, with special attention to critical development areas such as: education; translation and interpretation; health, welfare, legal and housing referrals, transportation, and employability skills.

CSO College Center is an initiative of Center for Student Opportunity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to promote college access and opportunity among first-generation and historically underserved student populations.

The Milwaukee Urban League's mission is to provide essential services... strong results-oriented programming... to those who share with all of us a desire to be productive, contributing members of the community. A dedicated team of staff, volunteers, sponsors, and the Board open doors to information, skill development and other support to help African Americans achieve their full potential and participate in the social mainstream, to secure economic self-sufficiency, parity and power, and civil rights.

Multicultural Community Services is a community-based organization dedicated to providing services to Milwaukee’s disadvantaged families since its inception in 1972. MCS is a well-known agency among W-2 clients, parents, and community partners, with a strong reputation for superior service delivery. Multicultural Community Services has a proven track record of success. Time spent interviewing job seekers; appropriate placements and preparedness, building relationships, and post employment support contribute to our success.
