Job Summary

The Security Operations Specialist is responsible for monitoring building security using security cameras, video intercoms, and a complex access control and alarm monitoring system. This position supports all emergency response procedures including fire evacuation, severe weather, shelter in place, responding to medical emergencies, and workplace violence. In addition to staffing the Security Operations Center, the Specialist will patrol buildings and grounds and enforce company security policy.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Summary of Responsibilities

Perform operational security services to include visitor management at various assigned posts. Respond to security or life safety emergencies throughout the campus. Patrol, observe, and report daily including use of security vehicle and radio communication. Support events. Assist in onboardings and security orientation. Support the Security Claims Evidence program.

Preferred Experience and Skills

    Three to five years of experience in physical security
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and security software applications
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Detail oriented

Preferred Education and Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • First Responder Certification in Community CPR/AED
  • Valid driver's license

**Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm**
