Location: US:WI:WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

$2,000 sign on bonus eligible for LCSW level applicants

$1,5000 sign on bonus eligible for APSW level applicants

FTE: 0.500000

Shift: 1

Schedule: 7am-5pm straight shift Sat/Sunday

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Liaison (BHL) provides psychiatric assessment/evaluation and recommendations for the plan of care when patients in the medical setting present with behavioral health concerns. BHL develops and supports the treatment plan using psychosocial and therapeutic interventions, care coordination and other services as dictated by the plan of care to address patients presenting psychiatric disorder and/or psychosocial issue. Completes all written and electronic documentation following clinic protocol and state certification requirements. Participates in regularly scheduled collaboration and consults with psychiatrists and clinic supervisor. Supports other behavioral health program needs.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

3,000 hours of post graduate clinical supervision, care coordination for behavioral health patients preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Master's degree in social work, counseling, educational psychology, or allied health profession from an accredited college or university is required.

Masters degree in clinical mental or behavioral health discipline with clinic field placement/practicum preferred.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

Specific clinical training in psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation and assessment is required.

Treatment for substance use disorders, training in one or more specific modality of treatment (CBT, DBT, ACT etc.) preferred.

LICENSURE REQUIRED:

APSW (Advanced Practice Social Worker) or LPC-IT (Licensed Professional Counselor in-training) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-IT) or similar credential eligible master's degree. APSW staff are required to hold a SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC or obtain credential within 6 months of employment. Clinical supervision of hours for license progression provided on site for APSWs. Other disciplines will be considered with DSPS pre-approval.

LICENSURE PREFEERED:

Current Wisconsin licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
