Job Description

We are conducting a search for one of our clients, for a Purchasing Coordinator.


My Client, with 20 years of history, prioritizes strong relationships with both customers and employees. Specializing in exterior commercial spaces, we handle various construction facets such as Design, Civil Engineering, Demolition, Grading, Concrete, Masonry, Landscape, Steel, Carpentry, and Electrical installations. We foster an environment where employees can excel professionally while delivering top-tier customer service and product quality.


The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and thrive in a team environment.



Specific Areas of Focus:

  • Verify project material requirements align with contractual specifications and drawings.
  • Manage supplier performance to achieve cost and quality objectives.
  • Source new materials and conduct vendor qualification.
  • Negotiate with vendors for optimal pricing, payment, and shipping terms.
  • Create and maintain purchase orders in ERP system.

  • Highly organized, self-starting individual with a strong customer focus and adeptness at meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement in quality and purchasing processes.
  • Effective communicator internally across all management levels and externally with customers and suppliers.
  • A collaborative team player with colleagues and customers.


Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Ability to comprehend Architectural, Civil, and Landscape plans.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are advantageous.
  • Clean CA Driver's license.
