UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a HR Coordinator. The Human Resources team consists of eleven team members who are passionate, forward-thinking professionals who pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service to serve the HR needs of the Medical Group. This position will be required to work on-site in our main HR office. The standard work hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

This role will be the front-facing team member in the HR department, providing top level administrative and operational support.

Minimum $48,568 - Midpoint $60,694*

*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.

*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

Summary

Provides a specified range of specialized professional, operational, and administrative support to the UNM Medical Group's Human Resources (HR) Department and other individuals as appropriate. Provides interpretation and routine consultation and ensures compliance with various UNM Medical Groups HR policies, procedures, guidelines and applicable federal and state laws. Reviews routine documentation to ensure data integrity and quality of production.

Minimum Job Requirements of a HR Coordinator:

High school diploma or GED with 4 years of directly related experience. Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure will be required if selected for hire.

Duties and Responsibilities of a HR Coordinator:

1. Researches and analyzes various HR related issues and participates in problem resolution.

2. Develops and modifies operating policies, guidelines, procedures, documentation and/or memos.

3. Develops and conducts or participates in specialized presentations and trainings covering operational and/or technical HR related information.

4. Greets all walk-in traffic to the UNMMG office suite as well as the HR office and answers phone calls and questions regarding, but not limited to, employment verifications and general HR questions.

5. Responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources team including but not limited to: scheduling meetings, processing department invoices, maintain tracking tools, scanning and saving documents, and ordering supplies.

6. Leads the UNMMG recognition programs to include but not limited to; ASPIRE, service awards, annual picnic, etc.

7. Enters and reviews routine employee/applicant data into various human resources databases and ensures data integrity.

8. Responsible for setting up and maintaining and creating personnel files.

9. Responsible for establishing HR standard operating procedures and re-evaluating procedures for continuous improvement.

10. May lead or participate in various project initiatives that supports the overall organization.

11. May create and present complex ad hoc data analyses and reports; identifies errors and deficiencies and makes process improvement recommendations.

12. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
