Job Description

Seda North America is looking for a 3rd shift (M-F, 11p to 7a) Warehouse Lead.  The Warehouse Lead communicates effectively with the production floor/quality personnel to ensure smooth transition of finished goods from the production floor to the warehouse/loading dock, maintaining safe working practices, GMP, Hygiene standards providing motivation and effective leadership to the warehouse staff.

OBJECTIVE:  To process goods inwards and dispatch recording all factory logistic movements. Recording all transactions accurately and promptly to ensure the operational efficiency of the Seda North America’s operation.

1. Specific Duties

· Pick and stage various loads in shipping area

· Dispatch loads

· Store finished products and cartons in the warehouse, recording in BPCS/SAP

· Keep dispatch and warehouse area clean and tidy with a focus on 5S and sanitation

· Analyze logistical problems and produce new solutions

· Manage RF gun fleet (handoffs at shift changes, proper battery maintenance etc.)

· May need to fill in for shipping administrator, set up rush shipments, oversee loading of late day pick-ups

· Motivate and effectively lead Team members

· Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs

· Help instill a culture of trust and fairness, with effective communication and promoting good work practices within the Team.

· Communicate effectively with production/quality personnel and shift change overs

· Participate in relevant continuous improvement programs

· Participation in training programs as identified by SEDA management

· Continuously improve self and department’s performance

· Additional duties as assigned

 

2. Skill Requirements:

· Knowledge and practice for 1+ years in warehouse setting preferred

· 1+ years Forklift experience

· Ability demonstrated with successful results in the past 1+ years to lead teams, working well independently

· IT literate with 1+ years’ experience of Manufacturing systems: i.e.: Applications and Products in Data Processing / Performance Based Communication Surveillance, Application System, (SAP)

· High degree of comfort using professional judgment without supervision.

· Knowledge and practice of 1+ years in 5S – Lean manufacturing tools, Microsoft Office Tools, Mathematical Computations, and Problem-Solving Skills; be autonomous and self-driven is a must.

· Understanding of their role in supporting the Food Safety Management System and the food safety hazards of the job to which they are assigned.

· Excellent time management skills

· Strong focus on customer service, have good problem-solving skills, be adept at written and verbal communication, and have excellent organizational skills.
