Perform complete receiving function of all incoming materials and miscellaneous items. Perform delivery service function for materials throughout all areas of the plant. Unload, identify, count and check all items against packing slips. Process all orders for domestic, export and government shipments. Receive, count, store and issue products and materials. Maintain stock inventory records and locations. Pack finished product and component parts in accordance with specifications and procedures. Prepare product for UPS/Fed Ex ground/air shipments, LTL shipments, Air freight shipments.

* Unload trucks, open bundles, boxes and other containers of material received. Weigh/Count and check contents against packing slips, bill of lading, freight bills and purchase orders for all incoming material.

* Deliver items to and from appropriate departments or personnel as required.

* Operate company vehicle (non- CDL) to pick-up and deliver material as required.

* Move material for inbound and outbound shipments to proper staging areas which will include the use of a forklift or pallet jack to locate parts to and from the racks and on and off pallets. Complete bill of ladings and label boxes accordingly. Complete all shipping forms and forward to shipping office.

* Inventory, order and maintain locations of cartons and packing supplies.

* Receive, store and issue products/materials. Adhere to cure date requirements, heat code requirements and serial numbers where specified. Follow specified material handling procedures.

* Request information and process transactions with computer terminal. Prepare bar code labels using bar code printer.

* Perform cycle count audits, updating and correcting as required. Evaluate discrepancies for cause.

* Coordinate with the Quality Department any source inspections, including verifying cure dates for certifications as required. Filing as needed.

* Pack, label and ship hazardous material as required.

* Review packaging requirements (part specific) and pack accordingly.

* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

* Break down cardboard for recycling.

* Report defective materials or questionable product conditions to supervisor.

* Supports other areas of the Warehouse as needed.

* Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures.

* Other assignments as required.

* Strong focus on safety.

* Able to communicate effectively with management, and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on positive teamwork.

* Commitment to and demonstration of Parker/Lord principles and policies.

* Mental and visual attention is required for counting, receiving, dispensing of stock, processing orders, packing, verification of part numbers, serial numbers, cure dates, etc. Continuous attention is required to prevent safety issues.

* Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function in the Warehouse as needed.

* Must be dependable and available to work overtime and extended hours on short notice as required.

* Understands and demonstrates comprehension of routers and Manufacturing Work Instructions.

* Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision.

* Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.

PREFERRERD

* 2 + years product packaging experience

* SAP experience
