Charter Wire is seeking a Supply Chain Intern!

This role will assist and/or lead multiple Supply Chain projects supporting the different facets of the business. The Intern will collaborate directly with other employees and work on projects independently. Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.

Start Date: Summer 2024

What you'll need:

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to succeed in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

What we'd prefer:

• ERP experience.
• Purchasing experience.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S tools.

What you'll do:

• Assist in problem solving efforts to improve performance.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
• Perform daily processes related to position.
• Assist in projects and function as a resource for other team members.
• Analyze data and report.
• Document and improve processes.
